I ordered this book for my very curious 3 year old but it's too basic even for her. If she hadn't been so excited to receive it I would return it. It's much thinner than I expected & skims over each featured animal in the most basic & simplistic terms possible. Many snakes aren't included at all & none are covered in depth. I'll definitely have to order my daughter a more informative snake encyclopedia than this one. Truly a waste of money.

This book is way better than I expected it to be honestly. It was just an add on for me as I bought my son a 14 ft stuffed snake he wanted and this popped up as a suggestion. I figured “sure why not?” And got it. It’s beaitful! Has beautiful photos and illustrations. Written well! I was really not expecting such a nice book but it’s fantastic!

Bought this for my older son along with a wet specimen of a rat snake. He loves learning about snakes and reptiles so this book was perfect for him.

When delivered, the spine was a little jacked up. What do you expect for a paper back though? Other than that, I think my 3 year old Star Wars fan will love it.

This book was a birthday gift for our 5 yr old grandson. He loves it! Wonderful photos with so much information.

Great book to get a young fan reading. It gives success instantly. Great for 3 and older especially readers who eat sleep and breath Star Wars.
