I spent the first six weeks of my summer break enjoying this Savannah series. What a treat to read about a strong, mature woman who is happy with who she is. Savannah doesn't "need" a man like many characters do, but appreciates everyone she loves for who they are and ends up with a real husband. A husband who isn't perfect either. Along the way they solve murders together with great plots. McKevett writes fun mysteries with some great lessons on humanity under the surface. Thanks for making my summer reading a season to remember.

Very disappointing. There was almost no suspense, and aside from the main characters, there was very little development. It's hard to care about the killer when all we really know about the victim is that her name wasn't really Maria. And Savannah really talks too much.

G.A. McKevett is my favorite author love her Savannah Reid Series. The way she writes and the way the whole gang inter acts with each other is great they all keep me guessing through out the whole book. Can't wait til her next book comes out. I haven't read one of her books yet that I don't like. Thanks for the adventures they'll last a life time.

If you are a G.A. McKevett fan, you will not be disappointed. As always, she is funny, witty and her stories are always a page turner. If you have never read G.A. McKevett, you should order every book in the series. The heroine is a southern belle personified with a heavy kick if you are not minding your manners. The characters come to life and with the end of each story, you are left wanting more time with the "family." I have read every single book in this series and I can't wait to read the next one!Judy JP

I've listened to the whole series and love it!

I read several earlier Savannah Reid mysteries and enjoyed them so when "Wicked Craving" came out I purchased it without qualm. The characters are still fun and the writing is decent with one huge issue. Can someone PLEASE explain to me how Savannah is in the middle of a police murder investigation, called by her police detective friend the minute he's on a case, able to walk onto a crime scene, question witnesses and suspects, and discuss a case with the coroner all as nothing more than a private citizen???? It is beyond belief! Mystery novels take a certain suspension of disbelief, but this is too much to swallow and interfered with my enjoyment of the story because I'd keep stopping to think "did that just happen?"

I love opening up a Savannah book - it is like catching up with your good friend. I have read all of Savannah's adventures and this was another good one. I enjoyed the who-done-it, but what kept me turning pages until I was done was what Dirk was up to! As long as G.A. keeps writing about Savannah, I'll keep reading!!

I love, love, love this author! This book was only one of many I acquired with Christmas money to complete my collection! The sexual content is VERY minimal, suggestion and attitude rather than shown.
