Little do these chickens know it's Halloween, and it's all part of the fun! This is a really fun, non-scary board book all about Halloween. Fun illustrations, and bright colors, make this book one young kids will enjoy reading.
Another adorable addition to our Sandra Boynton collection! My son enjoyed seeing familiar Boynton critters in costume. I enjoyed him saying "eek" in his sweet toddler voice.
My toddler grandson loves his Sandra Boynton books, so when I saw this new Halloween title, I ordered it immediately. We enjoyed reading it together and I left it at his house so his parents can continue reading it to him as Halloween approaches. Charming illustrations!
I have always loved Boyton illustrations, so when I was choosing a board book for a young friend, this was my first choice. She now has several board books, but this one is her favorite, and it goes with her when her family goes visiting. I think her parents enjoy reading it to her as much as she enjoys the book. She's one year old now and is learning to turn the pages and look at it on her own. This is a winner, in my opinion!
Sandra Boyton is the best, we all know, but this book was really cute for Halloween and before/after the holiday. It's long enough to keep a story line, but short enough to keep a toddler's attention.
I purchased this book from Meijer for Halloween, and my daughter loved it. It is past Christmas, and she still insists I read it to her all the time. I purchased it again on amazon for my sister-in-law who is having a baby soon.
I do a crazy chicken voice when reading this delightful Halloween book. My 2 1/2 yo laughs with glee and says, "again" when we reach the end. One of her best, Boynton has the gift of storytelling in amazingly few words that are so well chosen and have perfect rhythm for reading aloud. Five stars all the way.
As usual, Sandra Boynton has exceeded our expectations. We love this adorable, witty book about Halloween, our favorite holiday.
My son ADORES this book and it’s fun for me to read to him too (which is a good thing as he’s wanted to read it every night since we got it!!) Definitely one of my favourite Sandra Boynton titles.
